(Dendrochronology - Inventory Forest Division). This application was designed to collect statistical data of the forest in Province of Quebec (Canada).

Small samples of forest land was identified to be part of the collect process. Then, people visit each sample using a tablet PC running DendroDIF application to enter statistical data like the number of trees, their essences, the composition of the ground, etc...

Once done, the data was transmitted to the project manager using a wireless connection. Then, the data was sent to the Government office once the project manager have all the data of each parcel. The data was kept in an Oracle database and was used for different analysis by forest engineers.
