What is ParaDocks?Paradocks is basically the reincarnation of the Classic application launcher found on OS 9. It does not replace the Dock but rather enhances some of its features. Paradocks creates a floating window containing the icons of all currently running applications, and allows you to easily switch between applications by clicking the icons. |
Why ParaDocks?Because we need a faster way to switch among running applications. When the Dock is huge, it becomes difficult to spot the application you want to switch to. ParaDocks displays only the currently running applications, allowing you to quickly switch between applications. System requirements?ParaDocks runs only on OS X. How much does it cost?ParaDocks is FREE. OverviewWhen launched, ParaDocks displays two windows: the Settings window and the Applications List window. The Settings window is visible only when ParaDocks is the frontmost application. The Applications List window is always visible even when ParaDocks is not the frontmost application. Using a hot key, you can show/hide the Applications List window anytime. Applications in the list are ordered by name. Any applications you launch will be added to the list. Any applications you quit will be removed from the list. You can use contextual menu to perform other actions over running applications. |

If you double-click an application, besides bringing the application to front, all other running applications will be hidden. |
2) By using the minimized applications List windowThe frontmost application is the only one visible in the minimized Applications List window. Clicking on it brings a popup of all running applications you can choose from to make the switch. To switch back and forth between the extended or minimized window, use the window's zoom button. |
